Isaiah 61:1-2 1The Spirit of the Lord GOD(Jesus) is upon me; because Yahuweh hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; 2To proclaim the acceptable year of Yahuweh, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
Luke 4:18-19 The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, 19To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.
In order to see what Jesus’s purpose was you must go back to the OT. The breaking of bondage is breaking iniquity’s hold on us. Spiritual curses.
Isaiah 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
Iniquities are the driving force behind sin, addictions, lies, ect. Under the law of sacrifices sins where delt with on an annual bases, but the bondage, driving force, was still there, Yahushua (Jesus) has broken and freed us by faith in who scripture says He is, Savior.
Matthew 18:18-20 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven. 19Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven. 20For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
Look at these two statements by Yahushua (Jesus), this is part of our ministry, we have the power through His blood and our faith in who He is.
The authority has been given to you and I, the same Spirit that is upon Yahushua empowers us, because His Spirit dwells within us.
Mark 16:17 And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; They are from iniquity and are bondage.
This is just the first paper for you to understand this portion of
Yahushua’s gospel and the work each of us is to do, not the priest, pastor, someone more holy than me, but us ourselves by our faith. This is to show you where the power comes from. Not Roger’s opinion but by faith in who scripture says He is and who you have become in Him. Yahushua (Jesus) has taught you this very thing.
